ONE-COMPONENT ADHESIVE BASED ON MS-POLYMERS FOR PARQUET INSTALLATION ON ALL TYPES OF SUBSTRATES
AREA OF USE
The adhesive, based on a single-component MS polymer, is used for laying untreated or varnished parquet, parquet boards of all types and sizes up to 23 mm thick. Parquets for which to use:
- piece parquet of any width and length;
- varnished or untreated parquet;
- assembled parquet;
- parquet installed on ribs;
- high density parquet;
- all types of wood, including white beech, birch, bamboo;
- array up to 170 mm wide.
For installing parquet on various types of absorbent or non-absorbent substrates: concrete, wood, metal, tiles, anhydrite screed.
Ideal for exotic wood species.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
TYPE OF SUBSTRATE FOR INSTALLATION: prepared concrete surfaces, cement-based screeds; chipboard and plywood.
PREPARING THE BASE
The base must be firm and level, hard, clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
The surface humidity during the installation of the coating must not exceed 4%. If the humidity is above 4%, use the EPONAL 376 system.
Concrete slabs or cement screed must be prepared with ROXOL leveling compound.
APPLICATION
Tarbicol MS Elastic is applied to the surface of the substrate with a notched trowel B12 at a rate of 700–1000 g/m2. There is no setting time(2).
The gaps between the wall and the parquet strips must be at least 8 mm. This gap is then covered with a skirting board. Rule for calculating gaps: 0.15% of each largest dimension of the surface to be covered with parquet.
(2) Gumming time – time for initial film formation (solvent evaporation).
To achieve optimal results from the material, it is recommended to use material from the same batch for each individual object. Due to the production technology, there are small but permissible differences in the technical data of different batches.
NOTES
- Parquet should be stored in a dry room in a closed package.
- Do not use glue when the humidity is above 65%.
- Lay the parquet at the installation site at least 48 hours before starting work to balance the humidity.
- For heated floors: the heating must be turned on at least 3 weeks before laying the parquet and turned off at least 48 hours before laying. The heating temperature must be increased gradually, only a week after laying.
- Tarbicol MS Elastic adhesive has high adhesion.
- Tools are cleaned of fresh glue with acetone.
- Strictly follow the parquet manufacturer's recommendations.
- After completing the work, the adhesive package must be tightly closed.
STORAGE
1 year in closed factory packaging at temperatures from +5 °С to +30 °С. Withstands freezing down to –10 °С.
PACKAGING
